Only Son
I want to know exactly is the meaning of only son. We are in search of my sis groom and the funny mail which we received that so &so family and so&so boy(not to mentioned).Later on when we do correspondence and shocked when result came,there was seven sister behind one brother some of are married. and those who are married and those who were not married were not mentioned,anywhere in C.V what was mentioned is only son. More about the family no one have the proper education. Only son ka kya matlab hota hai?
Rebellious nature can crop to any girl if subjected to a question why she had to hang about at home and her brother could go out with his friends just because he was a “Boy.” ??

In the packed and busy city, thousands of young women come from rural community in chase of jobs such as work in a house or a small shop.
Growing up in village, many young girls of all ages who were sent by their parents to work in the homes of wealthier families, while these families take care of the girls giving them food and shelter but very few make available an education as well.
Once the girls make enough money by working in houses for many years, their parents marry them off and necessitate the girls to stay in the homes of their in-laws.
For the reason that girls will be married off and live as housewives or carry on to toil in places requiring no educational background, wealthy employers do not see a need or use of education in the girls’ lives.
The common track of dilemma has led even wealthy and educated people to distinguish this treatment as a rule.
While the social and class status in Nation plays an important role in make our mind up for the livelihood of girls, the fundamental causes of gender discrimination such as the preference of sons over girls also has concerning outcomes.
Parents who want a son are more probable to an option to infanticide, child-neglect and abortions.
In India it has one of the most imbalanced gender ratios in the world.
Same is indicating that a high preference for sons among Indian families.
Similarly society apparent themselves in people’s everyday lives, discrimination becomes the rule.
In our Hindu institution, parent’s act of kindness is blessed only on sons as they are the ones who inherit property, earn money, provide old-age security for parents and carry on the family name.
In a sharp contrast, parents do not see parallel motivation in raising girls who are alleged as a burden, since their marriages require a dowry apart from this religious aspects are also involved and it is believed that only the son can perform death rituals that eventually free the parents’ souls.
These widespread cultural beliefs are difficult to disregard for many Indians.
